Takedown & DMCA policy

Corpus hosts manuscripts uploaded by their authors. Every upload requires an explicit, timestamped affirmation that the uploader owns the rights to the work. If you believe a work hosted on Corpus infringes your copyright, we will act quickly.

How to file a notice

Email takedown@corpus.example with:

• Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed.
• Enough information for us to locate the material on Corpus (series name, book title, or the public demo URL if applicable).
• Your name, mailing address, email, and phone number.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

We acknowledge notices within two business days. Valid notices result in the material being removed or disabled promptly, and the account holder notified with a copy of the notice. The account holder may submit a counter-notice with the same elements; if we receive one, we forward it to you and may restore the material after 10–14 business days unless you notify us that you have filed a court action.

Repeat infringers have their accounts terminated and their corpora hard-deleted.
